In the world of data management, sometimes we hear the term, “drilling down.” The assumption is that the phrase reflects a need to find out what may be underneath the surface data, in order to gain a deeper understanding of the information at hand. We might say we need to “go deeper” in our pursuit of the truth, in order to draw accurate conclusions about the given subject.

Perhaps the same kind of pursuit is advised as we view almighty God. Our knowledge of God at best is limited; and at worst may be riddled with false ideas that actually distort our perception of Him. To know the real God of the Bible, it may be necessary to go deeper in our understanding?

In today’s message we will explore four Scriptural revelations about God, which will inspire admiration, worship and, hopefully, a renewed devotion to the true God we really want to serve.
