EP 6 - Prayer: The Lifeline of the Christian Life

In the sermon, I discussed the concept of blurred vision, using the metaphor of driving in a rainstorm behind an 18-wheeler. I explained how the water thrown up by the truck can obscure our vision, making it difficult to see the road ahead. This situation can be likened to the trials we face in life, which can often cloud our spiritual vision and make it hard to see God's plan for us. I emphasized that in such situations, we have two options: to pull over and wait for the rain to subside, or to try and overtake the truck. The latter option, I argued, can often lead to disaster, as it involves rushing ahead without clear vision. Similarly, when we face trials in life, it's important to wait on God and seek His guidance, rather than trying to push ahead on our own.
