Ben Craughwell is the owner and founder of The Better Man project, where he works exclusively with men to improve all aspects of their lives by coaching in the areas of health and fitness. Ben is also a competitive Power Lifter and soon to be Father. On episode seven of the podcast Ben walks us through how he founded the Better Man Project. We talk about a few of the basic principles he instils in his Clients, such as paying yourself first, that have helped facilitate some of the huge transformations his Men have had. We look at how people can fall into a trap of living a reactive life. Ben talks us through some of his Non-Negotiables and how he ensures he is living a more proactive life, which for anyone can have massively positive results over time through some simple planning and foresight. Ben has amassed a wealth of information in the areas of diet, strength, conditioning and lifestyle, some of his major influences includes Jordan Peterson, Stan Efferding and Ryan Holiday. We talk about some of the positive and highly impactful lessons he has learnt from these individuals and how you can amalgamate and benefit from the learnings into your day-to-day life too. Ben is extremely candid in his approach and stoic in his outlook, his no-nonsense approach to health, fitness and life is refreshing to say the least!
