Еп 7: Върху електрическия кон / Riding the electric horse

Враца и Стара Загора: това са 2 общини по пътя на модернизацията на градската среда чрез цялостна електрификация на обществения транспорт, с една цел: комфорт за жителите и гостите на двата града, изграждане на квартали със здравословен климат, енергийно ефективни сгради, които не само да консумират, но и да произвеждат енергия, електро-зарядни станции, автомобили, автобуси и тролейбуси, с цел да се постигнат 0-ви емисии вредни газове до 2050 г ЕК предвижда огромни средства за електрификацията на превозите по Кохезионния фонд и ОП "Околна среда". За страната са предвидени 2 млрд. лв. повече от предходния прог.период Първите нови тролейбуси във Враца се очакват още през юни. Договорът по изпълнението на проекта е на стойност 32 млн. лв. От тях 26 млн. са безвъзмездна финансова помощ, а останалите  са от самоучастие на община Враца. Подписан е през 2019 г. Срок на изпълнение 3 години В Ст.Загора проектът предвижда закупуването на 33 нови електробуса и 18 двойни станции за тяхното зареждане. Договорът по изпълнението е 53 млн. и 800 хил. лева, от които безвъзмездната помощ е близо 45 млн. лева, а останалите 8 млн. и 800 хил. са от общ. Ст.Загора. All it takes is initiative and entrepreneurship on the part of local and national authorities. Bulgaria is to receive BGN 2 billion more than in the previous programming period for development and modernization of its transport infrastructure In their efforts the municipalities of Vratsa and St. Zagora are working on projects to upgrade their transport systems, introduce innovative urban traffic management systems, replace currently operating vehicles with fully electrified ones and upgrade the overhead line Local residents respond readily to the policies for modernizing the transport system and a greener urban environment A problem on the way to the implementation of the projects is the appeal of the tender procedures, which slows down the work but does not stop the process entirely The first new trolleybuses in Vratsa are expected in June. The contract for the implementation of the project is worth BGN 32 million. Of these, 26 million are grants, and the remainder will be covered by own funds of Vratsa municipality.
