Ep# 71 - Jesus Paid For Your Healing, BUT...

This week’s podcast, “Christian Contradictions: Jesus paid for your healing, BUT…” is going to confront some long-held Christian misconceptions about healing, and points to the foundation that healing is actually built on. Here are some of the common misguided beliefs about God’s Kingdom and healing: • Heaven is ‘up there’ and I’m ‘down here’ praying to God, hoping He’ll do something • If it’s God’s will, I’ll be healed • If I have enough faith, I’ll be healed • I’m just waiting on God But the reality is, Heaven invaded Earth through Jesus Christ. The “Kingdom is at hand” is a right now reality and is the foundation for healing. The reality is, Jesus has all authority - over ALL things, and He gave that authority to us. The reality is, we are His body - we are one with Him, just as He and the Father are one. So, here is what all of that means: • We are NOT separated from God ‘down here’ on Earth. We are both IN Heaven in Jesus AND carriers of Heaven on Earth • God’s will is always healing, always to manifest Jesus’ victory, always Heaven on Earth • We’re not asking God to do something and then hoping He does it. It’s not about our faith, it’s about enforcing what He has already done - releasing the jurisdiction of Heaven • We can’t just passively wait on God, we are His hands and feet • When you’ve done all you can, stand and rejoice in Jesus’ victory, whether you see the manifestation yet or not. NEVER think it’s not working Another really important factor discussed in the podcast is the power of agreement. What we believe and what we agree with is incredibly powerful. It can be comforting to put all of the responsibility on God to do all the work, but we play a role. It is by our agreement with a thing, whether conscious or unconscious, that we give it power to exist here on Earth. I know that is A LOT to digest, especially if you’ve never heard it before. This is going to require a total understanding of the Gospel and your union with Jesus. So, get your Bible, get a notepad, and get ready to have your mind blown with God’s crazy goodness!
