EP 72: Lessons I Learned My First Year As A Podcaster

from Million Dollar Breakthrough · host Joanne Bolt

Can you believe it's been a year?  I remember sitting down in front of the podcast mic last year with no expectations of what I wanted out of the podcast other than a fun place to give a voice to my biz.I never expected it to take on a life of it's own and become the main portion of my business.  But that's what it's done.  In fact the biggest suprise of my past year is that this podcast, The B-Word is the main pillar to my business!  That's part of the fun of being an entrepreneur though isn't it?  Learning and growing your biz and evolving it along the way. Regardless of what industry you're in, I looked back over the last year and realized that the lessons I've learned are applicable to everyone.  Because really, running a podcast is a business in and of itself isn't it?  Today I'm spilling the beans on some of my biggest lessons, aha moments, and insider info you need to know if you every considered podcasting as part of your journey.Links mentioned in this episode:My podcast platform, Buzzsprout.  Try them out by using my link and if you end up grabbing a plan with them (and omg it's cheap.  Like $12 a month cheap) they'll send you a $20 Amazon Giftcard.  How fun is that? The Real Boss Women Facebook Community is waiting for you!  Hop on in!You know what would mean the world for me?  As my 1 year pod-iversary gift 🎁 I'd love for you to rate and review The B-Word so that we can reach other women just like you.  It's free to do so and oh so valuable to me!Is your podcast looking for a home?
