A confrontation ensues between the Guardian AI and Knox’s robotic forces. Despite a fierce battle, the Guardian AI is overwhelmed but delivers a cryptic warning to Knox—by controlling others, Knox has entangled himself and will face the consequences of his actions. Knox, momentarily shaken, chooses to retreat, leaving the team shaken but alive.
