Choose Your Classes and Extracurriculars WISELY! Instead of doing as many different things as you can, do one or two things EXCEPTIONALLY! Find a club you love and help take it to the next level, be the captain of your sports team and lead your team to a championship victory, get an internship at a reputable company, or, try embarking on your own entrepreneurial venture! Parents and Students Should BOTH Be Prepared for the College Transition! After students leave for college, a lot of their actions will be their own responsibility! Parents can still provide love, support, and the occasional care-package, but it's important for students to get exposure to being apart and holding themselves accountable.
