Inflation is a cancer that erodes wealth in its path and the government numbers that are used to calculate base interest rates are just plain wrong. We will look at alternative inflation calculations that are more consistent with your normal experiences of shopping for groceries, fuel, health insurance, etc. and why you need to factor in these numbers in your projection calculations.
