In this episode Cucumber begins with the Osage Indians and the Reign of Terror. After being given seemingly worthless land by the US government, the Osage indians strike oil in Northern Oklahoma and become the richest people per capita in the entire world. This attracts many dark figures the area in prospects of the oil boom which leads to the mysterious deaths of several wealthy indians with the rights to their fortunes going to white settlers upon their death.  This is the first murder case for J Edgar Hoovers Bureau of Investigations (eventually the FBI).
