Hey friends, and welcome to the very first episode of “But God: A Story Worth Telling.” I’m your host, Danielle, and I’m so glad you’re here. This podcast is all about real stories—honest, raw, and full of hope—because every powerful testimony has a “but God” moment. A moment when everything felt uncertain or broken… and yet, God stepped in.Today, I’m starting with my own story. It’s a journey through the ups and downs of my teenage years, relationships, seasons of searching, and ultimately—coming back to the One who never stopped pursuing me. Through it all, one verse anchored my heart: Romans 5:8 — “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”That truth changed everything. I didn’t have to clean myself up for Him to love me—He met me right in the middle of the mess. And if He can do that for me, He can do it for you too.If this episode encourages you, I’d love for you to follow along, share it with someone who needs hope, or connect with me on Instagram @thissonkissedlife. And if you’ve got a “but God” story of your own—I’d be honored to hear it. This space is for all of us who know that our story only makes sense because of Him.This is my story—but it’s really His. Let’s dive in.

Raising Justice Jessica Lynn Dodd This podcast is a love letter to my son, Justice. Listen along as I recount what the last few years have been like...fighting for him, praying for him, and longing for him. Trying to navigate life in Thailand as a solo adoptive mama has challenged my faith in God - but I trust Him and I know Justice will come home soon... Truth Encounter: The Lord's Prayer Dave Wyrtzen How do you pray? With a book of liturgy, totally extemporaneous, with King James English, or with down-home country talk? God’s Son can answer this question better than anyone else, and this is exactly what He did in His model prayer. You have probably repeated these words hundreds of times, but have you taken some time to understand what they really mean? These messages will challenge you to do exactly that! Look At God Nikkalus Ingram From the Beginning of time as we know it, the book of Genesis, God created us in His image and in His likeness. When man sinned, it created a man-sized hole in our Creators' heart and a God-sized hole in the hearts of humanity.
