After a rough summer involving PTSD, inpatient, and retirement, Jaimie and Chris have learned new habits to help them understand each other better. In this episode they will share how to actively listen to your partner.  Here is the framework to their new listening habit:1. One speaker, one listener2. Listener allows the speaker to talk3. Listener repeats what they heard the speaker say4. Listener empathizes by identifying the emotion they hear the speaker feeling5. Speaker affirms or corrects what the Listener heard6. Listener asks the speaker if they have anything more to add7. If Speaker has more to add, go back to step 1... OR8.
