In fiscal year 2019, the US government awarded over $590 billion in federal contracts.  The federal government and all of its many departments and agencies have robust procurement programs used to purchase everything from paper plates to stealth planes, from simple screws to space satellites.  There are many "heavy hitters" who get awarded these lucrative contracts every year but there are also a number of small businesses, "Mom&Pop" shops, women & minority owned businesses who are awarded federal contracts every year. However, if you are new to this space and interested in learning more we strongly suggest seeking out an experienced hand to guide you through the contracts and procurement process.  It is not an easy process to navigate at all.
