Tonight our discussion is titled "Blessed Assurance."  I know what you're thinking, what is Hezekiah talking about, blessed assurance?  Well, there is a story in the Bible that I love.  It's the story of Gideon and the Fleece.  You see, the Israelites had done evil in the site of the Lord and he gave them into the hand of the Midianites.  And they were really going through with this, but guess what, God was still God even though He allowed things to happen to them  Many times God will allow things to happen to us to get our attention, and in this story that's what God did.  When we're disobedient, there is a price to pay.  But God... Gideon was very special to God and God wanted to use him to save the people, but he wasn't sure if he was the one to be used.  He wanted a Blessed Assurance to make sure that God was going to be with him when he goes into battle.  So, he did what many people in the Bible have done.  He tested God.  He tested him twice to make sure that he'll have that Blessed Assurance that God's going to be with him in Battle.  That Blessed Assurance gives us peace that everything is going to be alright.   Join me, Hezekiah L.
