Why are you hardly present when I am playing music? But with words, with my word play, my play of thinking, there you reside in full force, there I feel your needy tug. You say, “With thinking and feeling you must inscribe new- ness, there must be new methods. There must be new conversational modalities. There must be new ways of playing with words and thought. There must be new play structures.” Why do you call me here? Why? And why me?
