Episode 14: Books About Diversity, Inclusion, and Antiracism

As a family, we've been talking a lot about what is happening in our world today. We've been talking about racism and the unfair and terrible things that happen to people of color. One of the ways we are learning about this is by reading books about diversity, inclusion, and antiracism. Because a lot of these books seem to be out of stock in bookstores, we thought it would be especially important to read and share these books with you. We hope that they will help spark meaningful conversations in your families as well. Today, we'll be reading: How To Be a Lion by Ed Vere Separate Is Never Equal by Duncan Tonatiuh The Day You Begin by Jacqueline Woodson Instead of our joke of the day, we share how our family is giving back.
