His debut novel, Vitalerium – Descent into the Void, is a space opera set in a dystopian future about a freelancer who uncovers a planetary conspiracy. A former physical therapist, Casbarro drew inspiration from his own experiences with sleep paralysis, sci-fi classics like Frank Herbert's work, and the atmosphere of metal music.
