Episode 147: A NEW Paper Mario Has Appeared!

from Warp World Podcast · host WarpWorldPodcast

Jaku, Xwater, and Poo are here with the news of the week. Because of the amazing Patrons, we were supposed to have a irl stream party to celebrate. With everything happening, that's not really possible. So, for now, we're doing a Mario Party Party on May 22. Check it out! Tony Hawk Pro Skater is getting a new game? No. It's actually significantly better. THPS 1 and 2 are getting remade, with most of the original music. It looks amazing, and we're all excited for it. Unreal Engine 5 has been shown off, and WOW! It looks amazing. There will be a lot of really amazing looking games coming soon with that. We have a Hot Take concerning another new announcement. Paper Mario: The Origami King was announced. It looks really good, and we can't wait to play it. But, can it please the fans of Paper Mario? After Sticker Star and Color Splash, will anything make the hard core Paper Mario fans happy? Ghost of Tsushima is coming in July. It looks pretty cool, but one of the things Jaku noticed was the UI. It takes up very little of the screen. On top of that, quests that send you somewhere don't have markers to follow. The wind in the game blows towards your objective instead. This is a really interesting decision that lets you feel more immersed in the game, and we hope more games do things like this. WE NOW HAVE A PATREON! Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/WarpWorld Check out https://coins.warp.world for a salty treat! You can submit any questions you have to [email protected] for the Ask the Broadcasters segment!
