Through Shauna’s story we learn about her three beautiful children, her experience with Sierra’s diagnosis, and the medical system. We were honored to discuss all of this with our guest speaker Shauna, who is a wife, mom of 3 (two in her arms and one in heaven), a certified athletic trainer, and a college professor in the field of Kinesiology ( sports medicine). Along with her career in sports medicine, she is a huge sports fan with a love for Baseball & Football. She is a congenital heart advocate as a heart Angel mom.
