Episode 16: All Hail to the Thief!

We’ve arrived at Radiohead’s sixth and longest album this week, and it’s bound to be a contentious series of episodes, as Anne and Ben have some pretty differing opinions on this record. Aside from debating over the tracklist and which songs are the best, we talk a bit about how Hail to the Thief captured a specific period in western politics, share more formative experiences in our respective introductions to Radiohead’s music, and reveal how Sail to the Moon may hold the key to understanding one of Thom’s more esoteric lyrical motifs.
