Summary
To provide quality education, enhance soft skills, foster scientific spirit and make better future citizens, the District Administration Sundargarh under the aegis of 5T Department, Govt. of Odisha has embarked on transformation of 383 Government, Aided & TRW High Schools in the district. 50 Schools have been taken up to transform in the first phases targeted to finish by 02 October, 2021 while the rest 333 schools will be completed by 2023-24.

Underprivileged educated youth and those from mining affected areas shall be given priority. Centres at Sundargarh & Rourkela are operational while Bonai centre will be opened soon.

The District Mineral Foundation Sundargarh, (DMF) has provided financial assistance for the initiative.
