How, when, and should you tell your kids that a family member is an abuser? This question gets asked A LOT. Because every family and individual is different, and because every abuse situation is so different, there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. BUT I'm willing to share some tips for people based on my approach with telling my children about their grandfather who is in prison for the rest of his life.
