Welcome back! This is Episode 18of I’m Not Mad … I’m Pissed! D-M-X! That’s it. That’s the statement. There’s a lot happening in politics right now, but for me, none of that is more important than losing one of the greatest to ever walk this Earth. Not just bless a mic, but to walk this Earth period. X was one of those people that you couldn’t help but love because of his energy. In an era defined by “Keeping it Real,” X was himself unapologetically. It was what drew people to him. It was why so many people connected with him. It’s why so many people felt him. This loss is impactful for several reasons that go beyond the art. X connected with people and touched people in a way that they could identify with. He wasn’t on that “I’m a superstar” bullshit that so many famous people get caught up in and that’s why he’s loved universally. Through all of the stuff he went through, he stayed level-headed with his heart in the streets. The community is going to feel his impact for a long time. There was some other political stuff to talk about too, and I spend a little bit of time talking about how the media and Republicans want to criticize President Biden for his lack of “bipartisanship.” I explain why that’s bullshit!
