Episode 18 Monday 6th May

Send us Fan MailMONDAY. Its another bank holiday! But this does not affect me as to me its just another monday. I do my normal business admin and upload another 2 podcasts. Then I preparing for strawberry fair. Then its lunchtime and I get lunch for both me and my wife. The its off to the gym. My pt has said in the past that he would never do a leg day before I begin a work day. But what do we do ? Yup a leg day! Then after the hour its to the supermarket to get my work food and then its off to home. I get home make dinner and then talk to my mum and then cook my works food. TUESDAY.  Its off back to work! I discuss my salary with my boss as I am being underpaid. However he points out that is how much I am paid with the hours I work. We agree that we need to discuss this but not today but tomorrow morning. I get to my base and the council are discussing the refurbishment of my base. So! as from next week I am back at gonville. Then I head to home and in the evening a f2f meeting of A to B1102. WEDNESDAY. I opened the buildings I clean and then get to my base at 9am for a meeting with my boss. However my boss doesn't show up. However at building 4 I get a phone call from him instead. We discuss and he suggests that he asks my union branch secretary about my salary and how much I should earn. I said good idea! Other than that it was just another day at work. THURSDAY. Another fine day. And its warm. Consumables are getting low so where is the supplies we are meant to have ? So I order some more. However its another peaceful day at work. Home on time and then to bed! FRIDAY. Its another beautiful day! As I walk to base I discover my Union branch secretary walking beside me. We discuss the pay issue and the cleaning issue. He did also pointed out that if this dispute goes on for long enough I would have sue my employers to make up the deficit in my pension. In turn my employers would have to Cambridge City Council. After the pay issue I then carried on with my normal day. SATURDAY. It was just a normal day To the gym and it was a pull day ( Meaning the back).  Then home, fish and chips in the evening and then to bed. SUNDAY. The day i dreaded had finally arrived. I was in the living room having my breakfast. My wife decided that she would have a shower. I heard a gumpf. I rushed to the shower and there was my wife on the floor! It took an ambulance 4 hours to rescue my wife. When the ambulance crew got her off the floor, my wife asked if she was going to the hospital. She asked the ambulance crew if she was going into hospital. The crew said that they haven't made decision yet but they asked why ? My wife replied because I want to go to hospital.
