After the success we had in the 60s and 70s, the North East music scene started to see a decline in the number of artists we'd see make it big and while there were still a few every 5 to 10 years or so and we still had artists from around the world coming to say hi, things weren't the same after the 70s. We hear from label boss Nicola Coaker, BBC Newcastle's Lee Hawthorn and Frankie Francis as we look at why this decline happened and if it was as bad as it looked. Hosted on Acast.
