Episode 2: Vietnam Veteran Jack Douglas Sumner

Welcome to the Valor Vault Podcast, the official podcast of South Willamette Valley Honor Flight. The goal of the Valor Vault podcast is to record and preserve the stories of our local veterans. Each week, you will hear from different veterans as they tell their military stories and tell the stories of their honor flight. This week, the Valor Vault Features an interview with Jack Douglas Sumner, a former supply officer from the United States Corps of Cadets at West Point, a retired support platoon leader at the 12th infantry regiment, who currently lives in Junction city Oregon. Jack attended his Honor Flight in October of 2019, and his grandson served as his guardian for the flight.
