Summary
Have you found it harder to tune into YOUR right decisions since becoming a parent? I definitely experienced a huge amount of tiring indecision when I became a Mum, and at times found it almost impossible at times to reconcile certain choices for myself and my life - in case I made the wrong one! And this is something that my podcast guest this week, Sarah Billingham, found really challenging to navigate when she became a parent, which she talks about in detail in this highly relatable episode. Sarah is a Mum of 2, a specialist speech and language therapist, the founder of her business Confident Kids and the host of her own brilliant podcast called Raising Confident Kids with SEN - and through her work Sarah equips parents, carers and practitioners with expert knowledge and tools to support children with Special educational needs. Despite having always carved out her own path with relative ease pre-kids, Sarah shares the strong internal conflict she experienced after becoming a parent which subsequently invited her to challenge and re-construct the way she made choices for herself, her family and her professional future. But that process was far from straightforward and through this chat Sarah shares the powerful journey she has been on, learning to navigate the loud internal debating and deliberating inside her head in order to Do Her Thing in life and parenthood with so much more confidence and conviction.
