Episode #23: Are You Rising To Your Goals or Falling To Your Systems?

from The Worthy Woman Collective · host Tara Kinden

We're diving into the juicy reality that not all goals are created equally and it may be time to start setting a refreshed vision for ourselves (long term) instead of a goal (short term).  I've been setting, crushing and failing forward from my (BHAG's - Big Hairy Audacious Goals) for years now but more aggressively since I was a lululemon ambassador, it was ingrained in the culture.  But lately this concept of rising to the goal and then falling back to the systems in place shook my foundation to the core.   My mind was somewhat blown because I think we all struggle in maintaining a massive goal crush.  We hear people constantly say what goes up must come down and it's true.  But what if we stop looking at it as this one moment in time and more as another step on the journey to uncovering who our best self actually is.   In this episode I'm sharing some of the great insights from James Clear's book Atomic Habits.  He shares his knowledge around creating systems that help support  growth and that bring you closer to your best self indefinitely. Instead of constantly goal crushing or failing forward we work towards a consistently upgraded version of self. I mean who doesn't want that!  Join me in the Energy Upgrade™ Program!
