Episode 230: Voices Other Than Our Own, Part Four--Henri Nouwen

As they continue their current series listening to voices outside each of their own faith traditions, pastors Erica, Sarah, and Steve turn to a much-loved spiritual teacher in the Roman Catholic tradition from the twentieth century, Henri Nouwen.  Well known for titles such as The Wounded Healer, The Return of The Prodigal Son, Life of the Beloved, and numerous other works, Nouwen wrote extensively about life in community, spirituality and contemplation, and knowing God first as foremost as One who seeply loves.  His approach to faith helps to break us of stereotypes we sometimes foist on one religious tradition or another, and his writing offers each of us a companion in our own journeys to know God and to live out our identity as God's beloved people.  We invite you along on the journey here for this conversation of Crazy Faith Talk!
