Episode 31 Monday 5th August

Send us Fan MailMonday. Again I cancel Gym. Alth.ough I am getting better. I have a serious cough which wouldn't be good while training. So I go and get my works food and then rest. Tuesday. Today there is a flap on at work as during the week the city council will be inspecting the buildings. And the boss wants all building sparkling clean. Wednesday. While I am at work I get an email from the county council about my wifes claim for help with paying for her carers. I ask if its possible for them to ring me so we can discuss and the county council agrees. Other than that its just an ordinary day and then home. Thursday. Well another truly hot and humid day. The tourists are decreasing in numbers making life a bit easier. I take a phonecall from the county council at lunchtime. And they turn out to be very helpful. Then its a very quiet afternoon and then home. Friday. At last!Its the last day of the week Tomorrow I will be at my second event. The Cambridge Country Show. So I take my stall with me to work. Then after the two cleans its off home via the venue for the country show to set up my stall ready for tomorrow. And then home. Saturday. The first day at the show and its a disaster. Everyone has a Gazebo but not me. Add to the misery it begins to rain. I hope the next day would be better. Sunday. The second day and its even worse. During the day people came underneath the tree my stall was under and was not happy with my idea for promoting my podcasts. So came 5pm and the end of the show and home. But I vowed to come back next year. Bigger and better.
