Episode 3360: TIME OUT, TERRORISTS - AMERICA IS DESTROYING ITSELF!

from Renegade Talk Radio · host Renegade Talk Radio

Growing divisiveness in this country has never been as shockingly displayed as on this past July 4th weekend, when individuals and institutions - from NPR to NYT to PBS to National Geographic to a Congresswoman - trashed American symbols and America, itself! This was very demoralizing, depressing and distressing to the majority of Americans and to the troops watching and listening to the weekend festivities celebrating America’s Birthday. But, even worse is what it says about the boundless attack on traditional values. This year, National Public Radio’s annual reading of the Declaration of Independence came with a warning about its “flaws and hypocrisies” including its assertion that “all men are created equal.” The New York Times published an article entitled,“A Fourth of July Symbol of Unity That May No Longer Unite,” referring to the American flag. Published the day before July 4th, it not-so-subtly tried to dissuade readers from displaying the flag, while pretending to be simply a straightforward story. The Public Broadcasting Service, for their July 4th special, diminished the Star Spangled Banner, as if it wasn’t the only National Anthem by adding a ‘Black National Anthem’ at the end of the broadcast. National Geographic tweeted about an unscientific study that purported to claim that July 4th fireworks are racist. And finally, a black Congresswoman takes the cake by saying she simply won’t celebrate Independence Day at all! Dr. Carole ends the show on a fitting note with some lyrics from Aaron Lewis’ new song, “Am I The Only One,” which describes his despair and hope for America to be saved.
