Episode 35 - Lyndon B. Johnson

Lyndon Baines Johnson was born on August 27, 1908 in Stonewall, TX, and he was the 36th President of the United States. This long, tall Texan who stood 6'3" started his career as a school teacher before moving into politics. He entered office upon the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, and won the Election of 1964. His administration served during the tumultuous 1960s, the escalation of the Vietnam War, the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F.
