from Kumbay'all: The Whole Woman's Resource · host Amanda Shipley

Do you ever feel like you’re ‘broken’ or a ‘mess’? Especially if you learn something new about yourself or your body that you weren’t aware of before? You’re not alone!  But we also want to help you re-frame those feelings of overwhelm or discouragement. In today’s quick pep talk, Amanda gives some perspective and a big dose of love. She also shares three affirmations you can do anytime you’re feeling overwhelmed.  We hope that today’s episode will encourage you and help you give yourself a little more grace and understanding.  About Amanda: Amanda Shipley, PT, DPT, MTC is a pelvic physical therapist in Atlanta, GA with more than 15 years of experience helping patients prevent and heal pelvic floor issues. Her mission is to change the standard of care so that pelvic physical therapy is a part of a complete wellness strategy, like going to the dentist. Dr. Shipley believes in a holistic approach and focuses on treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. After having two unmedicated homebirths, Dr. Shipley is especially passionate about helping birthing people have as smooth a childbirth as possible.
