Episode 5: Relationship Hierarchy & Respect

In this episode, I share my experience on the relationship hierarchy and where I was placed in that hierarchy. Family, friends, and significant others are all placed on that relationship hierarchy, and sometimes you may realize that you partner places themselves on that hierarchy. Your partner’s actions, not through words, will show you where you are placed.  With a relationship hierarchy, I believe respect plays a role in that. Respect is critically important in a relationship. The way you treat each other shows how healthy or unhealthy your relationship is. When your partner shows a lack of respect or you show your partner a lack of respect, the one being respectful will get to a point where they no longer care. When you and your partner show respect to each other, place each other first in your hierarchy, and put in 100% without expecting anything in return is a healthy relationship.
