However, we do know for the next hour and a half we'll be breaking down Season 4, Episode 4, "Future Tense." :) Drue (Mark Matkevich) throws a fake birthday party for Jen (Michelle Williams) and surprises her with a very X-citing birthday present. Joey (Katie Holmes) is dealing with being #4 in her Senior class while Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is barely graduating. To break the tension, they decide to go to Jen's party where Joey drinks way too much and Pacey becomes a semi-caveman.Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is struggling with his own future when Gale (Mary Margaret Humes) tells him that he's obviously running away from his current problems. He confides in Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) about his realization regarding his two ex-bff's. Jack (Kerr Smith) dislocates his shoulder which ruins his football career his Senior Year. Andie (Meredith Monroe) tries to help Jack realize he needs to get on the ball with college applications. We also discuss bad drunks, purging and a sudden fish death.
