Dating as a mentally ill person can be an extremely difficult thing to navigate, but what about dating a mentally healthy person as a mentally ill person? Is it possible? Is it harder? Is it easier? Can they understand you properly? These are all questions I have asked myself many times. But, after being in a relationship with a mentally healthy person as a mentally ill person for a year and a half, I finally feel like I have enough perspective to answer at least half of these many difficult questions. Let’s talk about it.
