I am very excited to have Fr. Wayne Belschner, Pastor at St. Mary of the Assumption in Dedham, MA join us for this episode. Fr. Wayne is an incredible man - he has built a thriving parish, with youth, and young and old families alike, because of his authentic approach. Born and raised in Revere, MA, and one of eleven children (nine brothers and one sister) let's just say Fr. Wayne knows a thing or two about people, the faith journey, and a man's need for God. There are so many things I appreciate about Fr. Wayne, but not least of which is his own desire and longing for God. Often times, people can look at priests and think they're invisible, but they are people just like the rest of us, who need to rely on God for their strength and healing all the same. I hope through this conversation, it helps you understand a priest's need for God, and are able to learn a thing or two from the wisdom Fr. Wayne shares with us. Thank you for listening to another episode of A Man's Need for God podcast.

(Taken from St. Mary's directly, you can read Fr. Wayne's complete bio here:

Fr. Wayne was born in Revere to the late Robert and Celeste Belschner.  Fr. Wayne has nine brothers and one sister along with twenty-four nephews and nieces as well as three grandnephews and one grandniece.  After attending Revere Public Schools, he completed his undergraduate work at St. John’s Seminary College.  He did graduate studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (1991-1993) and finished his formation at St. John’s Seminary (1993-1995).  Fr. Wayne received a Licentiate in Sacred Theology with a concentrate in history from Boston College in 2011 and his Doctorate from Boston College in 2017 in Medieval history.  While in the seminary, Fr. Wayne served in parishes in Roxbury and Winchester and was ordained to the priesthood on May 20, 1995.  He served as a parochial vicar at St. Charles Borromeo, Woburn (1995-2003); and, as a pastor at Sacred Heart, East Boston (2003-2016).  As a priest, he says that his greatest joys are rooted in the Holy Mass: “My greatest joys as a priest all stem from the celebration of the Mass. Whether it be marriages, baptisms, even funerals, to be gathered together as a family at the altar of God to share in His great gift of His Son is pure joy.”)

BeholdOurKing Daniel Cross What is the gospel? Paul uses the word “gospel” for the message he preached about Jesus: The gospel is about the hope of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ alone and the power of His resurrection. We cannot add to it or take any out. He Alone did the work because none could resolve the problem between a Holy infinite God and finite man and that's the good news that God saved us.This Podcast series uses the scripture to understand what this gospel is and why we need this good news.Stay blessed and May our Lord and savior Jesus Christ bless the listener of this Podcast. Amen Jumoke Ayetoro Podcast Jumoke Ayetoro Welcome to Jumoke Ayetoro Podcast, Our Mission is to Raise Possibility Thinkers. We are saddled with the responsibility of raising people who will become somebody in a world of too many nobody, a success in a crowd of failures. As a man thinketh so is he (Pro 23 vs 7), hence there is a need to discover God’s standard of mentality. According to Mark 9:2, we must engage the “all things are possible mentality; the slogan we need for this generation should be “it can be done and it shall be done”. I am a daughter of the Most High God, writer, prayer intercessor, minster, prophet, mother and health & nutrition advocate. I advise others to live healthier lives naturally through healthy eating habits, learning, teaching and spreading the Words of God. When you look around the health care industry, new medicines and drug remedies and are constantly being discovered. New things come on the market all the time. My belief is that everything our bodies need is already here on earth and has been here since the beginning of times. It's put here by our God, Our Creator. Nothing has ever changed. We just keep discovering more and more uses for what we already have at our disposal. John 6:27 says:Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his I Have a Supply Jay Eberly "I Have a Supply" is a concentrated, biblical teaching on accessing God's supernatural supply that He has prepared ahead of time, through the work of redemption, for man's every need. The listener will be taken deep into the truth that God has always planned for man to live in His provident care. Jehovah-Jireh, the God who sees ahead and provides, has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies. The provision on that table is God's abundant supply made available in our covenant today in Christ. It is our wealthy place (Ps. 66:12), the covenant of blessing that Jesus was preordained to come to earth and secure for all who will receive it by faith.
