This week our guest is Connecticut’s most "influential" beer "influencer" @jessbeerme !! In her first ever podcast appearance  Jess reveals how she built a fan base of over 22k followers on Instagram, staying true to herself.  She takes us on a flight to her home country of Ecuador, talks about the culture, shows us how to toast and the growth of the brewery scene. Next, Jess takes us to Denver and talks about her outrageous adventure with other Instagrammers at The Great American Beer Festival.   Who is Wallace?   As an craft beer advocate, Jess fills us in about the collaboration between Sacred Heart University (@brewatshu) and New England Brewing Company (@newenglandbrewing) (@nebcojammy). They've established a scholarship for Black students as a means to diversify the brewing industry. And, to ensure the scholarship support continues, the Connecticut Brewers Guild (@ctbrewersguild) has initiated an endowed fund with SHU—the Connecticut Brewers Guild African American Brewing Scholarship.
