Episode 8 - It Starts As A Thought: Suicide Awareness Part 1

from Think Yourself Crazy · host Tarkisha Wallace

Hey there! So y'all, I sat with my friend/soror, Keisha Roberson, and we had a good chat; one I think is extremely necessary. I've been encountering so many individuals who are currently experiencing suicidal ideation. They really think it's the only solution to the problems they are facing. As a professional and a person, this really breaks my heart. These encounters have made an impression on me to begin a conversation about suicide awareness and prevention on Think Yourself Crazy. This is only the beginning; there are so many more episodes and discussion to come regarding this topic. Why? Because your life is so valuable (you're worth best case scenario) and I want you here. So, if it takes me taking time to provide information to make you more aware and present preventative measures, I'm going to do just that. I want you to tune in to this episode in case any of the information can help you or someone you know. Y'all, suicide is a serious matter, I want us to be the help someone else may need. If you're in crisis and need assistance please call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or text HELLO to 741741.  So, bare with me, it's for a good reason. We will get back to our regular schedule/routine soon, I promise. But for me, this is a priority! ***Reminder: We want your overthinking stories and questions. Click the link [https://form.jotform.com/220535381824151] to share your story or ask your question so that you can be an active participant with Think Yourself Crazy! Until our next time together, don't you dare forget you are worth best case scenario.
