Episode 97: Trent Babb

from Behind The Bits with Scott Curtis

I met Trent Babb during the height of the pandemic on Joel Byars’ Hot Breath network. We did a couple feedback mics together and I watched him really lean into his comedy writing. Trent has really impressed me with his “crowdsourcing” his jokes by bouncing them off complete strangers in a comedy writing Facebook group and posting some of his great clips. We talked about his evolving into a more personal story type of comedian from a punster and an incident he had with an audience member that could have gone very wrong. Here’s Trent’s bio:or over 8 years, Trent has been made crowds laugh over California and Hawaii. Trent is committed to being a shameless goofball and passionate performer. His humor is focused on his observations of his family. Influenced by Robin Williams and Brian Regan, Trent is known as a larger than life performer.Check out Trent’s brand new website here:https://www.trentbabbcomedy.com/Check out the unruly audience member video we talked about here and subscribe while you’re there:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZctENDNcLE0This episode is sponsored by Hello Fresh!
