Listen cheerfully as I do a cold first-time reading of some of the translated poem’s from Federico Garcia Lorca’s “Poet in New York” poems. The eighth commandment is a straightforward commandment that condemns theft, but it does more than that. It exhorts us to understand property ownership, be good stewards, and—most importantly—give cheerfully because God has cheerfully given so much to us.
