Escaping Your Institutionalized Life by Defeating Your Ego

The ego is all the nontangible things that hold us back from having inner peace. The simplest way is to consciously defeat your ego every day by following these steps: Know you are worthy and deserving Notice how unfulfilled you are in your life Be truthful about what you notice Acknowledge that while this may have been the path you have been on for some time there is always room for change Accept that you have been blessed on this path by way of experiences and lessons learned Visualize the life you want Shift slowly in the direction of your desires. Take a class, save up to relocate, start your business, talk to your partner about your relationship, cut off those who are not aligned with your new path etc. Be open to receive everything you need to live this life and it will come by way of resources, advice, time etc. And if needed, give your ego an identity that you can physically beat down if required.
