Men hvordan kan vi arbeide for våre forfulgte søsken, som er langt borte?», spør Marius. Han deler noen refleksjoner rundt dette, som kanskje kan åpne opp for nye perspektiver. I Åpne Dører har givertjenesten fått navnet «Ett med dem». «Gud har én kirke på jorden, og den er forfulgt. Vi er en del av denne kirken! Når jeg gir gjennom Åpne Dører, så er jeg et søsken som hjelper et annet søsken. Men det betyr mer enn det: Mine søsken kan vite at de er ikke forlatt. At det finnes noen som faktisk, helt reelt, er ett med dem i Kristus», sier Marius Hammer.
