Het Amerikaanse AI-bedrijf Anthropic heeft chatbot Claude beschikbaar gemaakt in Europa. Claude is een van de grote concurrenten voor OpenAI's ChatGPT. De maker Anthropic bestaat sinds 2021 en heeft een miljardeninvestering van Amazon. Tot nu toe was Claude enkel nog in Amerika beschikbaar, maar nu zijn de app en website ook door Europeanen te gebruiken. De gratis versie is vrij beperkt, in tegenstelling tot ChatGPT, maar de betaalde variant wordt in Amerika geprezen om de natuurlijke taal. Verder bespreekt Stijn Goossens in deze Tech Update ook de nieuwe CEO's van Sony Interactive Entertainment. Hermen Hulst zal als Co-CEO samen met de Japanner Hideaki Nishino de leiding krijgen over Sony Interactive Entertainment. Samen nemen zij de plek van Jim Ryan over.
