Evening Edition: Trump Wants The United States To Control The Panama Canal

President-elect Donald Trump raised eyebrows internationally this week when he said Panama should return control of the Panama Canal to the United States if they don't renegotiate a new deal for its use. Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino shot back saying the Panama Canal belongs to Panama and no-one else. It is estimated that seventy three percent of all ships that pass through the canal end up in U.S. ports.
