Evening Edition: War Plans Accidentally Leaked To Journalist

An annual Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on worldwide threats took place but it was a Signal chatgroup among several of the president’s national-security leaders that topped the headlines. Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was mistakenly added to a chat that was discussing plans to attack Houthi rebels in Yemen. Democrats on the Intelligence Committee grilled Trump administration officials on why it happened, Republicans downplayed the leak, but it is still yet to be seen if the fallout from the leak will continue.
