Expect A Lot

He reminds us that often, people pray for too little and believe for too little, which hinders their freedom from life's trials. Pastor Jack urges us to boldly ask for much in Jesus' name—to seek victory in all aspects of life, whether in marriage, finances, health, or any area where God is at work. Drawing from the healing of the lame man by Peter and John, he highlights the significance of expectancy in receiving miracles from God. Although the lame man at the temple gate wasn't expecting a life-altering miracle, his healing became a testament to the power vested in the name of Jesus. Pastor Jack suggests that while personal faith can grow, the lame man's instantaneous healing was likely due to the gift of faith through the Holy Spirit. He differentiates between the faith we grow into and the sudden faith imparted as a gift. He notes that the early church wielded enormous power through faith in Jesus' name, a practice that brought healing and salvation. True faith emanates from recognizing Christ in the scriptures and everything the Holy Spirit does aims to represent Jesus in our lives.
