Explaining "disarmament" and "deconfliction" practically
from RNZ - All Programmes
The ongoing conflicts in Iran, Lebanon, Gaza and Ukraine mean terms like "deconfliction" and "disarmament" are becoming more and more prevalent in news reports. But it can be very easy to get lost in such jargon so we thought we would get a better understanding as to what the terms mean and how they affect international relationships. To do that, I'm joined by Dr Marianne Hanson. Marianne is an associate professor of international relations. She taught arms control, international law and diplomacy at the University of Queensland for 30 years. [picture id="4K5B385_Image_3_jfif" crop="16x10" layout="full"]
