Explanation of Bulugh Al Maram: Lesson 31 | Book of Purification | Chapter on Wudhu

In this lesson the following issues are covered:1. Are the wiping of the head and the wiping over the turban from one wudhu, or are those two separate actions?2. How much of the head does the turban have to be covering for a person to be able to make wudhu over it?3. Does a person have to be in the state of wudhu when he wore his turban to be able to wipe over it?4. How long is a person allowed to wipe over the turban once he put it on and started wiping over it?5. What is the ruling in regards to women wiping over their khimar?6. What is the connection between this chapter and the excerpt of the Hadith of Hajj by Jaabir?*After further reading upon completion of this lesson, I would like to correct one opinion I voiced in the lesson, and that opinion is in regard to the turban covering the head. I stated in the lesson that the turban should cover the main parts of the head that would enter into wudhu, I took this opinion based on the Hadith of the khufayn. However, after further reading into the issue, I retract that opinion because the truth is that there is no specific evidence for that opinion, and the turban, from its nature, does not cover the part of the head that is included in wudhu. In reality, the turban being tied on the head, whether it covers the complete head or not is sufficient for a person to wipe over.
