Extra resources to be introduced to assist refugees

The Leitrim For All group says moves to introduce extra resources into areas where refugees are being accommodated should go a long way towards easing concerns over whether the required infrastructure is in place to meet their needs.Additional nurses in GP practices, more reserve Gardaí and an increased number of English language teachers for schools are some of the options being considered as part of a new package of state supports.Adam Ó Ceallaigh is a member of the movement that were set up to assist migrants who come to the north west and is a local election candidate for the Green Party in the Ballinamore Municipal District.Speaking to Ocean FM News, he says these moves should help ease the concerns being expressed by communities throughout the country in relation to providing accommodation to migrants
